AquaVita: a countertop RO filter with two membranes and a colour LCD screen

The countertop RO filter AquaVita is a reverse osmosis filtration system that you place on the counter, with no need to touch your plumbing. Because there is no connection to the water mains, the shop states that the risk of flooding is also eliminated. You pour water into the 3-litre tank and pour the filtered water from the 1.7-litre jug. Two versions are available: Black Edition (€590.00) and White Edition (€548.70).

The colour LCD screen shows the operating status and the wear of the cartridges and membranes, so you can plan filter replacement in advance.

Four filtration stages in one system

The water passes through four stages in turn:

1. PP sediment filter (5 micron) holds back impurities such as sand, rust and iron.
2. CTO carbon block removes chlorine, organic substances and compounds that spoil smell and taste.
3. TFC RO membrane is, according to the manufacturer, intended to remove bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, nitrates and pesticides.
4. A second TFC RO membrane works in parallel with the first.

When to replace the cartridges and membranes

Replace the sediment filter and the CTO carbon block every 12 months and both RO membranes every 24 months. You will find the spare parts with us: the filter set for AquaVita (stages 1, 2 and 4) and the membrane for the AquaVita RO system.
