The direct flow reverse osmosis Ecosoft Cross Solo is an ultra-compact system for households with little space. It works without a tank, so you do not need room for one under the counter, and you get water on demand. According to the manufacturer a glass of filtered water fills in about 10 seconds. A smart display shows the status of the system and the membrane flushing, and the system switches itself off after 120 minutes of continuous operation. A leak detection sensor is built in.

How does a direct flow system work
In a direct flow system the water passes through the membrane at the moment of use, without being stored in a tank. In the Cross Solo the filtration is combined in a single 2-in-1 cartridge: about 30% is activated carbon and 70% is the RO membrane. According to the manufacturer, replacing the cartridge takes less than 5 minutes.
The manufacturer states that the system removes up to 99% of impurities, including viruses, bacteria, heavy metals and PFAS. According to the manufacturer it also uses up to 50% less water than classic RO systems. This is the manufacturer's data; the certificates themselves are not explained in more detail in the description.

Who is it for: direct flow reverse osmosis
Small kitchens and replacing a classic RO
Choose it if you have no room for a tank under the counter or want faster dispensing.
