W19: reverse osmosis, UV sterilisation, ionizer and water heating in one device

The countertop RO filter and water ionizer W19 sits on the counter and connects only to the electrical mains, so you need no plumbing. You pour water into the 6-litre tank at the back, and the device stores clean water in a built-in 3-litre tank. Waste water collects in a 2.5-litre tank. Two versions are available: black (€915.00) and white (€1,071.00).

In addition to filtration the device offers ionized water (the HYDROGEN ION function) and heating to six temperature levels, for example for coffee, green tea, milk or boiling water.

Three filtration stages and UV sterilisation

The water passes in turn through:

1. PAC composite filter, the first filtration stage.
2. 200G RO membrane with a capacity of up to 30 L/h. The manufacturer states that it holds back particles down to 0.0001 micron.
3. Post carbon filter with activated carbon.

This is followed by UVC LED sterilisation, which according to the manufacturer destroys 99% of microorganisms. The ionized water is produced by SPE/PEM electrolysis; the manufacturer states a negative ORP of about −200 mV.

When to replace the filters and the membrane

Replace the PAC composite and post carbon filters every 6–12 months or after 2,000 L, and the 200G RO membrane every 12–24 months or after 4,000 L. The prices of the individual parts are €29.90 (filters) and €49.90 (membrane). A replacement filter set with membrane for the RO and water ionizer W19 is also available.
