PurePro reverse osmosis with alkaline attachment – under-sink water filter with remineralization
The PurePro reverse osmosis with alkaline attachment is a traditional under-sink system that purifies water in six stages and finally remineralizes it, so the water tastes pleasant and has a slightly alkaline pH. According to the seller, the filtered water is free of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms. The system works mechanically, without chemicals or magnetic fields, and delivers water from a dedicated tap above the counter.

In the PurePro reverse osmosis with alkaline attachment system, water passes through these stages:
- mechanical PP (melt-blown) sediment filter, 5 µm,
- activated carbon block filter, 5 µm, which neutralizes chlorine,
- mechanical PP (melt-blown) filter, 1 µm,
- RO membrane PurePro TCF 50 GPD (0.0001 µm),
- post-carbon attachment for better taste and odour removal,
- alkaline/mineral filter that adds minerals and raises the pH to an alkaline range.

The membrane removes minerals along with contaminants, so the last stage is the alkaline/mineral filter. It adds minerals and raises the pH, so the water is not “empty”. Replace the mineralizer once a year; the mineralizer is available as a replacement part.

Replace the set of 3 basic filters every 6 months (filter set for reverse osmosis), the RO membrane every 12–24 months depending on usage and water contamination, and the post-carbon attachment and mineralizer every 12 months.
